My name is Selva and I am 23.
I am energetic and love adventure.
I am an advocate for self-directed learning and for democratic schools. Doing as much as I can to improve the educational system is my long term goal. As a part of this plan I'm studying educational science and educational management and business.

My lifestyle is active. I love sunset hour, being around water, speaking languages, outdoor activities, sports, surfskating. I speak Spanish, English, French, German and Portuguese. Learning a bunch more. Follow me on duolingo: @Selva_Lorenz

Country-wise I was born in Costa Rica, Spanish mom, US-American dad. Raised in Spain and currently studying in Germany right next to the French and Swiss borders.

I adapt easily to new situations. I lost count of how many times I moved. And I've traveled around a lot.

I teach Spanish and I am a good guide for self-directed learners. My experience in different educational systems is extensive. And that made me start advocating for democratic schools and self-directed learning.

I currently work in the IT department of the University of Freiburg, specifically in the E-Learning division. I work with the university's learning platform and I do research, I create videos, images, articles and content.

I like managing social media, taking pictures and videos, and editing videos.

I was raised in the countryside so I'm used to several kinds of manual tasks. I have some permaculture experience. I am clean and tidy and cook pretty decently.
