Hi! I'm Alex. I'm English, easy-going, good fun and always up for trying something new. I'm currently based in England working as a special needs teacher at a creative school. Now that I have a long summer break, I am looking to volunteer on a new permaculture project. I'm really keen to reconnect with nature and the permaculture principles, with the goal of passing fresh knowledge on to my students in September.

In 2019, I volunteered on permaculture projects in Greece and Toulouse, before moving to London for work, so it's about time I reconnected.

In terms of my background, I have worked in the arts in various capacities over the years, from programming, to operations, to gardening. At heart, I'm a storyteller. I love stories, hearing them, creating them, finding them. I've run storytelling workshops on permaculture projects before, and comedy improv workshops, so I could contribute in this way alongside whatever else you need.

I've worked in communications, events and hires management, office management, as a receptionist and in building operations. I currently work as a special needs teacher at a creative school, teaching Digital Media, Creativity, and English. I work as a film script consultant for production companies and I also write. I perform comedy improv, play piano, guitar and sing a little too. As a creative, practical and very social person, I am able to adapt to new skills and new environments very quickly.
