My name is Sawyer and I am 22 years old. I am an open minded and kind individual, my biggest trait is curiosity. I love to learn and explore. I joined workaway because I am looking to travel and learn new things. I live in beautiful Spokane washington, where I work as a kitchen manager at single location italian restaurant. Although I love cooking, my true passion Is nature.
I have solid experience with land scaping and caring for plant life. I worked for the largest greenhouse in my city and helped maintain and cultivate 5 acres of plant life. Tasks included watering, pruning, basic greenhouse routines, and driving fully loaded tractors.
Anouther significant experience I've had is when I traveled to Hawaii for a summer to work at a restaurant in naalehu. This experience gave me an enormous love for traveling and nature. I cooked at a restaurant and in my free time explored the island, learning about the culture and seeing the true side of it was definitely eye opening for me. It is definitely my biggest motivation for joining workaway.
Here in Spokane I spend my free time riding my bike and hiking around the PNW. Although I love my home but I am looking for new experiences.
My education is an associate degree in anthropology, focused on archaeology. I attended the Spokane falls community college.

I have greenhouse and agricultural experience. I worked at a very large green house in my city, where I helped maintain and cultivate an abundant amount of plant life. Some of my tasks included watering schedules, maintenance of greenhouse equipment, rotation of plants into different staged greenhouses and the building of new greenhouses.
I have a good understanding of automotive repair and motors in general, during my last workaway I repaired over 5 different vehicles. other skills I have are carpentry, plumbing, rainwater catchment systems, and basic electrical skills. in general I can do most handyman tasks!
I also have landscaping and pruning experience. I am in good shape and very conditioned to work in high heat.
