Soy licenciada en Biología Molecular, de Inglaterra. En mi anterior trabajo, evaluaba solicitudes de financiación para diversas organizaciones benéficas. Siempre he querido viajar, conocer nuevas culturas, escuchar historias y diversificar mis puntos de vista y experiencias.

Ahora estoy viajando por Sudamérica. Espero conocer gente nueva, intercambiar culturas, vivir aventuras y apreciar nuevos entornos. A cambio, estaré encantada de ayudar en lo que sea. Puedo ayudar en albergues, en proyectos de agroecología, enseñar inglés, ayudar con los niños (soy tutora con experiencia) ¡o ayudar con la casa!

También soy una apasionada activista del cambio climático. Creo que sería genial conocer algunas organizaciones sostenibles por el camino y aprender de su trabajo.

-He estado en España, Dinamarca, Canadá, Austria, Italia, Francia y Holanda.
-Me encantan las aventuras, grandes y pequeñas (¡por ejemplo, dormir en una cueva y nadar con bioluminiscencia a medianoche en Dinamarca!)

I am a Molecular Biology Graduate from England. In my past job, I assessed funding applications for a variety of charities. I have always wanted to travel, experience new cultures, hear stories, and diversify my own views and experiences!

Currently, I'm travelling around South America. I hope to meet new people, exchange cultures, have adventures and appreciate new surroundings. In exchange, I'm happy to help with anything. I can help in hostels, on agroecology projects, teach English, help with kids (I'm an experienced tutor) or help with the house!

I am also a passionate climate change activist. I'm thinking it would be really cool to hook up with some sustainable organisations along the way, and learn from their work.

Fun facts about me:
-I have been a lifeguard for 2 years, and was qualified at first aid
-I am an Maths and Science tutor
-I love Salsa dancing, swimming and rock climbing
-I send a video to the UN about international climate action
-I can scuba dive (I have hugged a wild seal!)
-I love to tell stories and facts about animals, insects, plants and microbiology
-I used to work in sustainable banana agriculture
-I have been to Spain, Denmark, Canada, Austria, Italy, France and Holland.
-I Love adventures, big and small (for example, sleeping in a cave, and swimming with bio-luminescence at midnight in Denmark!)

-Trabajo caritativo. He trabajado en la evaluación de solicitudes de financiación, por lo que tengo experiencia en solicitudes de financiación y prácticas benéficas sólidas.
-Tutoría. He sido un Inglés, Matemáticas y Ciencias tutor antes, y actualmente soy un tutor en línea para una gama de edades y habilidades. También trabajé en una escuela durante un año.
-Cuidado de niños (he sido cuidadora de niños durante 4 años).
-Jardinería y agricultura sostenible (he trabajado con plátanos agroecológicos)
-Gestión de proyectos para iniciativas sostenibles. He estado en muchos grupos activistas durante más de 5 años, y también estoy construyendo un sitio web para apoyar el activismo climático.

-Charitable work. I worked in assessing Funding applications so I am experienced in funding applications and strong charitable practices.
-Tutoring. I have been an English, Maths and Science tutor before, and am currently an online tutor for a range of ages and abilities. I also worked in a school for a year.
-Babysitting/childminding (I have been a childminder for 4 years)
-Gardening and sustainable agriculture (I worked with agroecological bananas)
-Project management for sustainable initiatives. I have been in many activist groups for over 5 years, and am also building a website to support climate activism.
-Practical experience looking after chickens, dog, tortoise, guinea pigs and horses
-First aid (I was a lifeguard for 2 years and swim coach assistant for 5 years)
-Knowledge of soil ecology (I study microbiology, with a focus on environmental applications and symbioses)
-Fluent in English, eager to learn Spanish
-Open to learning new skills!

What else ...

I love salsa, bachata, swimming, biking, hiking and rock climbing. I've also got lots of low-cost yummy vegetarian recipes up my sleeve as my university flatmates and I had a challenge to make a new dish every day for half a year with no repeats.
