Hello dear Hosts,
We are Jurgen & Sanne, a Dutch couple aged 35 and 29. We are currently travelling around in our campervan.
We already have travelled extensively in the world, both alone and as a couple, having visited countries such as New-Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam, South-Africa, Morocco, Spain, Portugal and more.
Sanne has plenty of Workaway experience in Portugal, Spain and New Zealand. During these experiences she learned a lot about animal care (horses, dogs, cows, ducks and chickens), general building, gardening and more.
In the Netherlands she has over 10 years of experience in hospitality working several positions in the kitchen, front of house and housekeeping.
She is a calm, creative person who loves to be outdoors and has a big love for animals and nature.
Jurgen also has some Workaway experiences in Australia working with horses and in Portugal working on a huge corktree farm/event centre doing all-round jobs.
In The Netherlands he worked as a professional chef with 15 years of experience, working in all kinds of restaurants, from simple bistros to high end restaurants.
He is passionate about nourishing, high quality food, nature and (since recently) regenerative farming.
It is our dream to create or be part of a project that has multiple aspects including a farm, accommodation, small restaurant, replenishing of natural surrounding/wildlife and creating a warm , welcoming space for people to feel home, relaxed and inspired.
We would love to visit Workaway projects that inspire us and that can teach us new skills to help make that dream come true.
