Description

Heading to Japan at the end of summer to travel and work with a working-holiday visa! I'll be staying for up to a year, hoping to make the most of my time there:) I'm 21, from Norway, and I currently work here preparing for my trip.

I head to Japan looking to change my scenery before I go into university full-time in the fall of 2026, and to further explore my creative endeavors:) I'm very interested in Japanese literature, and plan on writing, painting and doing photography continuously in my stay. I have a hobby++ interest in languages, and hope to practice Japanese as much as I can as my 5th language. While I currently work in sales (camera sales and repair), I have long experience with handywork and cooking - having worked as a painter/carpenter, as a fisherman and fileting fish, as well as in a butcher-shop and cooking for myself for 6+ years.

In my free time try to manage time for my hobbies and working out. I'm good as long as I get time to collect my thoughts at the end of the day:)

Overall i'm very capable. I've lived by myself for years so cooking/cleaning is no issue. I've done quite a lot of odd-jobs as well, including carpentry, painting houses, working in the garden, etc. I'm good with my hands, and I tend to enjoy the work, so I think I should be able to help out with whatever you need, and I'm a quick learner anyhow;)

Like I mentioned, I really enjoy doing music and I tend to play whatever I can get my hands on. I also write a bit, I like arts and crafts, play a bit of chess, and read philosophy when i can. I also surf and skate, climb and play Dnd in my spare time:)
