Description

Hi! We are Samaia and Elias, a young couple from Germany.
We have just finished school and now we want to travel and explore.
We have always loved traveling and learning about other cultures all over the world. We are eager to learn new skills, meet new people and go on adventurous journeys.

We especially like to be in nature and explore new hiking trails on foot or beautiful lakes and rivers on a canoe.

We would also like to experience new ways of living and would love to be a part of interesting projects or be a help to anyone who needs it to achieve their goals.

Elias: I have always been interested in crafting and working with my hands. I often am helping my dad with building or restoring things around the house or in our garden. For example we just finished restoring a steel bench together. I also help a lot in our vegetable garden and I’m pretty fond of plants in general.
Furthermore, i really like cooking and experimenting with new recipes.

Samaia: I have experience in food service industry since I have worked in a local café and as a waitress in a restaurant.

I have always loved to do DIY projects around the house with my mom. For example decorating the walls or handcrafting.
I also have some experience with animals and pets. We have two dogs (Gordonsetter) which I take care of regularly.

Furthermore, I have some experience taking care of children. I've been team leader at a sommer camp for kids ages 5 to 13. We went on trips, made up new games, crafted and played.

We are both good English speakers since we have both been taking part in exchange projects to English speaking countries.
Elias lived with a host family in England for half a year and went to school there.
Samaia stayed with a host family in the United States of Amerika for a year and attended high school.

What else ...

Samaia: I like to play basketball in my free time. And since I have been a barista in a small café in my home town, I love to experiment with coffee and new brewing techniques.

Elias: I really like to go to the gym and work out. Recently I also discovered arm wrestling as a new hobby.

Together we like to go on trips in nature for example go hiking or canoeing. We also love to explore new cities and towns in our free time.
