Sorry about rather grim photo, it is my uk passport picture! Better when I smile which I do loads especially in New Zealand.
I am travelling in both South and North Island in December 25 and January 26. I am an experienced mature traveller , strong in body and mind and keen to volunteer in both Islands for a week at a time to suit hosts.
I can cook, clean, garden and look after animals. Loads of experience with children and grandchildren. My main career was in secondary school teaching which I did for 30 years
teaching English Literature and Health and Social care. I understand French pretty well.
Some of my family live in Auckland but I want to give them a break although we will be together at Christmas. This will be about my 10th trip to New Zealand and I want to be useful.
I have a campervan for 11 days on South Island solo and want to explore and volunteer in Dec up near Nelson through to Abel Tasman NP. After Christmas I will be in Whangarei
area.
With a good sense of humour and independent spirit I could surely be helpful!
