Hey peeps
A description of oneself is never an easy task so feel free to ask any questions if anything is unclear! My name is Sam and I am on this platform because it gives me a feeling of security to be able to go somewhere distant and still be able to connect with people in the setting workaway provides. Thanks for that!
I have been through school, did an apprenticeship as a Landscape gardener (no real knowledge about growing veggies tho) followed by a Swiss vocational bachelor in social science and worked for approximately 9+ years as a work educator trying to help young people to get an education as a Landscape gardener. Even though I enjoy being outdoors and helping people, these interests haven’t transformed into a passion that I wanna earn my money with. Since there’s nothing holding me back in Switzerland, I’ve decided to let my wanderlust take over.
I think I'm more on the introverted side and sometimes it takes a while until I warm up a bit.Interests

What else ...
I found out that there are very different manners on how to greet each other around the world. In Switzerland we shake hands to be polite, to our friends we give 2 or 3 kisses on the cheeks or hug each other (I like the hugging more). If I come to your place, please tell me the appropriate way to greet each other because the first impression really counts and I don't want it to be weird :)
