Helping others has been a passion of mine my entire life. I've donated a lot of time to building others up and helping communities. I have longed for a way to travel and bring that passion and spirit of service with me, until finding Workaway I had no idea how to do that.
my longest trade is carpentry. I can build just about anything with just about any materials, new or recycled.

Over 10 years experience with Personal Training.
I honestly believe I can learn and apply anything I am curious about.

  • More details about your skills

I am a Carpenter by trade. Building and crafting has always been a passion of mine. I grew up building cabinets with my brother and our dad in his woodshop. After separating from the Marine Corps I began building homes in North Carolina before moving home to Montana. I took a hiatus from carpentry and attended a mountaineering institute in Bellingham, WA where I "dirtbagged" in my car in the Cascades training to be a mountain guide.
I returned to Montana where I began building custom homes from the road into the property all the way through to the finish work inside and out. I currently am working on a project with 30+ other carpenters and even more from other trades. I enjoy creating a positive work environment and building the community between the different trades. I am a firm believer this increases overall morale and closes communication gaps between different trades often working around each other.
Early in my life I was instilled with a passion for service and helping others. My goal in life is to build that positive community everywhere I go through my interactions and my time I invest spreading positivity to those in need.
