Hi there!

My name is Rut, and I'm from Terrassa, a city near Barcelona.
I am a very active person who also happens to be pursuing culinary studies. I'm starting a stage program in September, so I'm interested in practicing and learning from other cuisines as much as I can.
Prior to that I majored in gender studies which lead me to focus on trying to find the ways in which I could combine the disciplines I am passionate about: gender, environment & gastronomy.

I play an active role in my local community and try to keep up with the needs and social movements in my city.

Over the years, I have gained valuable experience working in various environments, and I would love to keep on learning about permaculture and anything that has to with taking care of animals.

I am always in constant change and development and always looking to improve, improve and learn new things.

I'm at a point in my life where I'm looking for a space where I can be myself, where I'm welcomed and treated with all the love and respect I offer others.

I am a good cook...and even better eater!
I have some experience doing basic maintenance work.
I enjoy organized and clean spaces and don't mind putting time into it.
I adapt very quickly to a new environment.
I like taking part in artistic projects (painting & photography)
I have some notions on graphic design, social media and video editing.

I already take care of two cats and a dog at home and during volunteering in Portugal and France I learned the basics of taking care of goats, horses, pigs and chickens.

I enjoy cycling, swimming, running, doing yoga and also pretty much anything that involves playing.

I also love taking a break and relaxing with chill music, painting, journaling or just sharing a conversation over some tea.

I'm very interested in learning about local cultures and traditions...and of course, the culinary particularities of every place I travel to.
