Description

I am a poet and musician from London, living in the Southwest of the UK. I have spent time at several eco villages since 2011 and wish to learn more in regards to medicinal herbs for instance, growing veg, building shelters. A few projects have caught my eye recently in regards to eco projects and I am enthused to become involved in something like this, to gather skills and teach them to others on my travels and in the long run really help our environment. I have excelled within my communicative and analytical skills and as a poet, am intrigued to learn other languages, share my poetry from past experiences, experiencing other cultures and communities, whilst sharing my skill set and improving it.
Although I have my poetry, farming is one example of a necessary skill I yearn to know, to be a self sustainable individual and able to show others, but alas being from the city, haven't had a chance to master these 'fields' at all, pardon the pun.
On the subject of gardening, I have tended to flowers and plants since I was a child and have a great affinity with nature. Learning more about permaculture and horticulture is on my list too obviously.
Teaching children drama has always been a goal of mine, to share the arts with the youth, especially where needed and is a passion of mine,i did my work experience in a kindergarten and went to drama school as a child and teenager.
My wonderful mum has taught me to cook and clean well and I love trying new recipes. I was a dog walker for half a year, so it's safe to say I am an avid animal lover, working with the animals and tending to their needs is not unfamiliar territory to me, as my Uncle Michael owned a cow and sheep farm when he was alive and I helped him when I was a little girl.
As a person I am very outgoing and friendly with a lot of passion and motivation for positive change. My background consists of helping the homeless since 2011 and have got to a point where sailing on from the U.K will be an amazing progressive adventure!
