Hi All,

We are Rolf and Kiki, a friendly Dutch couple who are always in for a new adventure. For the coming year we decided to quit our jobs and start a new adventure. We are both very eager to experience a different kind of life, being outside, working with our hands, learning how to live with the elements and enjoying nature. Our adventure starts with wwoofing(working on organically farms) for 4 months in Portugal and in September we are making our way to Indonesia.

We have always wanted to learn more about nature and farming. For most of our life we lived in urban area's. We miss nature in our daily life in the city, but try to find our connection with nature as much as possible through hiking, surfing, running and mountainbiking . Sports is definitely a big part in our lifes. We like meeting new people, work in a team and organise events which brings people together.

Working with our hands, together with the elements of the earth is something we are really looking forward to. Wwoofing in Portugal has been amazing. Learning to grow our own food and been self sufficiënt by using hydropower and solar energy. Wwoofing is a perfect way to explore the region and get to know the local community. We are curious where our next stay will be!

The last couple of months we have been wwoofing on organic farms in Portugal and gained various skills; weeding, planting, taking care of chickens, chopping wood, strimming, DIY (building garden structures) etc. We love working on a farm and are very eager to learn new skills.

Before leaving our country for a year we both had office jobs in sustainability (projectmanagers and consultancy). So we have some knowledge for eco/sustainability projects. Additionally we have expecience in hospitality and some basic construction work. Rolf is quite a good barista. On the side we both enjoy being creative; playing the guitar, singing and some basic movie editing and photography.
