I volunteered a few years ago and now I have the opportunity to go traveling & volunteering again. I grew up between Canada & England, but moved around a lot as a kid, and I guess I never grew out of that.

I feel like I started a self discovery journey a few years ago that was paused due to covid, and now I'm hoping to restart that. I love being able to travel, meet new people, and have new experiences that all add growth to my own life.

I'm very passionate about equality and understanding other cultures and beliefs. I'm quite a free spirited person; I don't like being tied down somewhere for too long, which is why I seem to be constantly traveling somewhere new.

I like to think I'm very positive and open. I love animals & nature, art & music, being outdoors and using my hands, or relaxing inside with a good book. I'm quite easygoing and seem to get along with people well. I'm very fortunate to have the amazing friendships that I have, my friends are all wonderful people with beautiful personalities and qualities.

I'm hoping to travel more of the world and continue this journey that I've started and continue to grow as a person and understand myself more ☺️

I've met some amazing people during my previous volunteer experiences and I'm hoping to have some equally amazing experiences this time. Though my personal goal is self discovery & growth, I'm open to all opportunities to see what's out there and broaden my horizons :)

I've worked in a civilian role for the police for 5+ years, so I have a lot of experience with office work, call taking, and administrative/analytical projects. I'm incredibly organized and motivated, good at working by myself and with teams, and am very creative. I've also worked in multiple hospitality roles - cafes, restaurants, and pubs - as well as management/leadership roles in these environments.

In my volunteer roles I've looked after children (au-pair), animals (animal rescue), and worked in kitchens & gardens (Bhakti Yoga Retreat). I like being outside and using my hands; though I don't have professional training with tools or building, I do enjoy learning and assisting with building things (my dad and I built lots of furniture for my old apartment).

I've volunteered at multiple festivals, helping with check in, setting up/packing down the site, cooking for guests, and serving customers & staff.
