We met whilst working in Ibiza in 2002 (there may have been a party or two) and got married in London 20 years later. I suppose we've grown up(ish) together and make a strong team. We're both outgoing, friendly and up for an adventure. We're also easy going, appreciate a good sense of humour and genuinely get a kick out of chatting to people of all ages and backgrounds.
Robert's an experienced electrician and has worked on some big London projects, including the Elizabeth line on the London rail network and the new Sadlers Wells theatre and institution for arts.
Lizzy currently works in the homelessness sector as a Resettlement Worker, supporting homeless people to source accommodation. She also has experience in the events industry and has enjoyed completing a photography course in her spare time.
We lead active and sociable lifestyles and you guessed it - we love to get about a bit. Our last travels were in South America (Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Argentina and Columbia).
We're excited to drop out of the rat race for a year and have a variety of Workaway experiences. Hopefully we can improve our Spanish and get stuck in wherever you need a helping hand, so please reach out and say holaa!Interests

I am an electrician by trade and I have been in this field for nearly 20 years. My expertise is install works so I am very capable of interpreting drawings, using power and hand tools and making things look very neat and tidy! I am a hard worker with a good eye and I love the satisfaction that my work ethic brings. I have worked on some of London's flagship projects in recent years.
I love working as part of a team and pride myself in being a team player.
I was born into a hospitality environment so feel very comfortable in this space. I can help with reception, reservations, housekeeping, kitchen.Age

Liz is a Bikram yogi, who also enjoys running and cycling. Loves animals, art, music, photography, great event organiser, cooks, cleans and loves a pint in your local ;)

We had the pleasure of hosting Robert and Elisabeth, and they were absolutely wonderful volunteers. From day one, they took on the responsibility of keeping the house clean with a great sense of ownership. They also made sure our dog, Rio, was well-fed and got plenty of walks,… read more
