Hello,

I am Marion, I have been travelling since 2017 without stopping much except to work to fund my travels. Travelling has become my lifestyle and I don't see now what else could make me happier.
I have done a fair bit of hospitality work (housekeeking and restaurant) and farm jobs around animals while I was living in Australia.
I am a very outdoorsy person who enjoys hiking on my free time. I am quite obsessed with Japan and South Korea and I travelled there several times. Culture is a very important aspect to my in my travels.
In terms of personality, I am rather a flexible person. I am a independant person who enjoys being alone but I appreciate family life too. I have a thing about tidyness so I will never leave a mess behind me.
I have recently developped an interest in experiencing life in the big North, which is why I am planning a trip in 2025 in Iceland and Norway.

I studied animal behaviour and ecology, so I have a big interest in conservation, wildlife and sustainable lifestyles. I volunteered twice in Africa (Ivory Coast and South Africa) in local wildlife conservation and many more times in my home country. Through helpx, I volunteered in a temple in Japan where I mostly did gardening, coocking and general maintenance.

I love east asian cultures, I am quite the Kpop and korean movie lover. I have been meaning to learn Korean when it becomes easier to travel there.

It was great staying with Debra and Andrew, they are very welcoming and I felt at home right away. The workload is really not much and you can always choose what to do according to your interests. I really loved their place and sleeping in the cabin in the woods was definitely a highlight for me. Thanks again to the whole family for having me.

Well, let's just say that it can get really cold in November, so be ready if you want to go to Tim's place during the winter. Marion stayed with us for about 3 weeks during a very busy part of the year for us. She was a fantastic help and adjusted easily to all the different tasks. She was a great addition to our busy household and we would love to have her again anytime!
