Hola mi nombre es Ricardo soy de Arica una cuidad fronteriza de Chile, me considero una persona tranquila y bastante curiosa, tengo un gran respeto por las personas y la naturaleza, me gusta viajar y conocer nuevas culturas. Por lo que recorrido casi todo Chile, Santiago, Chiloé, la Isla de Pascua y también otros países como Perú y Argentina, pero es la primera vez que uso workaway para viajar.

Tengo una gran adaptabilidad a distintos tipos de clima ya que por el trabajo de mis padres cuando pequeño viví en Visviri un pueblo entre la frontera de Chile, Perú y Bolivia el cual está a 4000 metros de altura y tiene grandes variaciones de frío y calor.

Mi profesión es la de ingeniero en prevención de riegos, calidad y medio ambiente, actualmente estoy trabajando en una escuela en donde estoy a cargo de la seguridad esto me permite tener unas vacaciones más largas que el resto de las personas por lo que aprovechó para viajar.

Hello my name is Ricardo, I am from Arica a border city of Chile, I consider myself a calm and quite curious person, I have a great respect for people and nature. I like to travel and meet new cultures. As I travel almost all of Chile, Santiago, Chiloe, Easter Island and other countries such as Peru and Argentina, but it is the first time I use workaway to travel.

I have a great adaptability to different types of weather because of the work of my parents when I was a child I lived in Visviri a town between the border of Chile, Peru and Bolivia which is 4000 meters high and has great variations of cold and heat.

Empezaré con mis habilidades más específicas relacionadas con mi profesión que son la prevención de riesgos, calidad y cuidado del medio ambiente.
La prevención de riesgos y la higiene ocupacional se puede aplicar a un sin número de rubros incluido el turismo, evitar accidentes del personal o cliente cobra mucha importancia si el lugar se encuentran alejado de centros hospitalarios o se realiza turismo aventura. También está el tema ergonómico y los riesgos psicosociales cuando se trabaja con mucha gente, yo puedo ayudarlos a mejorar mucho en estos aspectos.
En cuanto a la calidad lo más importante reducir las pérdidas y satisfacer las necesidades del cliente yo puedo ayudar a determinar cuáles son las necesidades y así establecer un estándar de calidad para su producto o servicio.

En el cuidado del medio ambiente lo importante es reducir el impacto negativo que se genera sobre el medió para esto les puedo recomendar diversos métodos y formas de aprovechar los recursos dependiendo de lo que quieran hacer.

También tengo conocimiento y estudios básicos en informática hací que los puedo ayudar con su sitio web si usan WordPress o con el manejo de sus redes sociales.
También les puedo ayudar si quieren instalar fuentes alternativas de energía como paneles solares o catadores de luz solar ya que fueron parte de mi proyecto de tesis, aunque solo trabaje con prototipos a escala por un tema de costos.


Ahora seguiré con mis habilidades más generales.
Soy bueno en la cocina me gusta aprender platos nuevos y cocinar en General, por lo que no tengo ningún problema en preparar almuerzos o desayunos.
Tengo conocimientos básicos sobré plantas y jardinería he intentado crear mis propios bonsái y de momento no me va mal, puedo ayudar a cultivar o cuidar el jardín y es algo que haría con gusto.
Realice mi práctica como ingeniero en un centro médico y aveces apoyaba resolviendo problemas informáticos o resolviendo dudas de los pacientes por lo que se tratar con personas.
Por último, puedo realizar labores de limpieza y orden como casi cualquier persona lo único que no se me da bien es el planchado de la ropa nunca he logrado que me que bien.

I begin by explaining my most specific skills related to my profession that are risk prevention, quality and environmental care.

I am good at cooking I like to learn new dishes and cook in General, so I have no problem preparing lunches or breakfasts.
I have basic knowledge about plants and gardening, I have tried to create my own bonsai and at the moment it is not bad, I can help cultivate or take care of the garden and it is something that I would do with pleasure.
I did my practice as an engineer in a medical center and sometimes I supported solving computer problems or resolving patients' doubts as far as dealing with people.
Finally, I can do cleaning and ordering work as almost anyone, the only thing that I do not do well is the ironing of clothes I have never gotten that good.

Dentro de mis pasatiempos está: escuchar música, ir a la playa, hacer trekking, la jardinería, el arte del bonsái.
Me gusta practicar surf aunque no soy un experto, también andar en bicicleta y simplemente pasear .
Planeaba viajar mucho antes, pero lo que pasó en mi país retrasó un poco mi viaje, quise apoyar las protestas y el saber de primera mano que es lo que pasa en las calles.

Among my hobbies is: listening to music, going to the beach, trekking, gardening, bonsai art.
I like surfing although I am not an expert, also riding a bicycle and just walking.
I planned to travel much earlier, but what happened in my country delayed my trip a bit, I wanted to support the protests and knowing firsthand what is happening in the streets.
