I'm new to Workaway but volunteered in different countries and with different organisations and charities for both social and environmental causes. I love the idea of cultural exchange, learning and collaborating with the host (organization)!
My first volunteer experiences in Latin America inspired me to become a development and humanitarian aid worker, and I have since been doing non-profit social justice and environmental work and humanitarian aid, supporting vulnerable people from rural communities or disaster-struck places.
I consider myself a considerate, trustworthy, reliable, adaptable, and friendly person, always curious about learning about other cultures, and very tolerant.
Grew up in Germany but during the last 15 years, I have lived and/or travelled mainly in Latin American countries since I love sunny and warm places. However, lately I was more attracted to Southeast Asian countries and its culture, so here I am! :)
Nature and animal lover with a strong interest in sustainability and organic farming & permaculture. I now work online (part-time) for a small NGO with projects in the area of sustainable tourism and feel very motivated to do some more 'physical' work as a compensation for working in front of the computer. My dream is to live in some sort of community of like-minded people and be self-sufficient through own organic production of food, while at the same time supporting the local community. I also like cooking and learning new recipes. I care about good health and sustainable and animal-friendly nutrition, with plant-based diet, whole foods, organic food, natural ingredients, regular detox etc.
I enjoy dancing, singing, playing boardgames, hiking, cycling and performing music (I play several instruments).

I have expertise in fundraising and a good grasp of computer & internet skills, including social media, I'm also good at writing/texting. I can also share my language abilities — I speak English, Spanish, and German.
Although I am not an expert, I know the principles of organic farming and permaculture and am happy to help with everything in the garden, Moreover, I consider myself skilled and experienced enough to help with every light work that needs to be done around the house, such as painting, decluttering, outdoor upkeep and simple repairs & DIY, such as basic fixes, helping with small projects etc.
I'm interested in healthy nutrition , whole foods etc. and I love cooking, baking and trying new recipes. Furthermore, I'm an animal lover and have experience caring for animals (through my own pets, cat sittings and farm stays in the past)
