Description

We got to know each other some years ago living in the same house while Raphael was working for a year in Buenos Aires and Eugenia was studying there. Even with over five years of not seeing each other we kept in touch and now decided to make our dream of visiting Brazil together into reality :) we hope to make new experiences doing workaways in different places, get to know new cultures and people.

My name is Raphael, I´m 25 years old and originally from Austria. I spent the last couple of years studying music therapy in Vienna, which is a combination of two of the things things that I love most: music and working with people. Now that I am finishing up I want to go explore the world and find new places, people and perspectives on life. I consider myself a hard worker and team player. I am adventurous, open and flexible, but it's also important for me to kick back sometimes and be with myself, preferably in a hammock :) I already had some great volunteering experiences abroad, in different social projects, ecological farming and tourism.

My name is Eugenia, i'm 26 yo, from Argentina. The last year i've been working and studying in my citie Buenos Aires. My main job was working as an Ocuppational Therapist, but i have always been related and totally into Art so i worked in different small and independent Theatre projects as a producer's assistant and in escenography (wich i loved and been incursing the last months in art's university). I consider myself as an easy-going person who loves to learn from others and enjoys a lot meeting new people and places. I love diversity in all ways of expression. I've been travelling by myself some time ago trough Perú and Bolivia but this is my first time volunteering so i really hope to share and expand my abbilities. I'm very interested in contributing to ecological ( new gardening skills!) farming (take care of animals) and cultural-artistic-social projects.

I finished my occupational therapy studies on 2023. During the college period i worked a lot in social and art stuff like, comunnitie centers (as a theraphist practicist) and healthy assistant-company. Also i participate as a child animator in birthdays and bussines events. In art's world I've been part of a theather independent companie where i used to do a lot of tasks such as: make up artist, stage producer, assistant, voice guider of the plays, etc. I am a drawer and a painter, so i enjoyed a lot doing tasks wich involves manual things.

Raphael has recently finished his studies in music therapy, including different internships with children and grown ups. He also has some experience in gardening, building stonewalls/ earthwork, cooking, cleaning and organising groups. With his band he not only played, but also organised concerts and did social media marketing and communication. Working odd jobs besides university his work experiences include: animator for childrens birthdays, student assistant, elderly home, catering and working infestivals.
