  • Description

I left my 9-to-5 job last year intending to travel for six months, but the journey has been so enriching that it’s now turning into more than a year of full-time adventure. By this October, it will mark one year since I took that leap of faith. Along the way, I’ve done several Workaways and different jobs to extend my travels, and each experience has only deepened my passion for exploring and for endurance sports—fueled by the amazing people I’ve met on the road.
I was born and raised in Kanjirapally, a small town in the mountains of Kerala, India, often called the “Gateway to the Mountains.” My childhood was surrounded by nature, helping out on our family farm with crops like rubber, areca nut, and tapioca, and lending a hand to my mom in her vegetable garden. Those years taught me the value of hard work, adaptability, and simplicity. Later, I pursued a career in Human Resources, gaining over four years of professional experience, and then moved to Toronto, Canada, for further studies. I lived there for three years before choosing to embrace this travel chapter of my life.
I’ve traveled across Canada from west to east, meeting wonderful people, making lifelong friends, and discovering hidden gems in nature. I’m active, love running, and have been learning long-distance swimming. While I may not be an expert in one sport, I enjoy anything that challenges me and brings me closer to nature—whether that’s hiking, scuba diving, or just trying something new.
Now, I’m setting my sights on New Zealand. This time, I plan to do my first van life adventure, exploring the country at my own pace while soaking up its scenic beauty. I love islands, and after completing a road trip across Canada, traveling the length of New Zealand feels like the perfect next step.
At my core, I enjoy connecting with kind and loving people, learning from others, and sharing experiences. I’m outgoing, adaptable, and always willing to lend a helping hand—whether on a farm, with a project, or just in good company. For me, travel isn’t only about the places I see, but the people I meet and the stories we create together.

I’ve always dreamed of learning French, but I never found the time to fully pursue it. I’m genuinely excited to learn from anyone who can help me speak, read, and write in French, and I’m eager to immerse myself in the process. Your guidance would mean a lot to me, and I’m dedicated to practicing and improving with every lesson!

  • More details about your skills

I may not be an expert in one area, but my life experiences have made me resourceful, adaptable, and eager to learn. Growing up in India, I worked with the soil—ploughing, planting trees, growing vegetables, and caring for hens and pets. Over time, I picked up practical skills too, like repairing fans, fixing pipes, resolving leaks, and even attempting motor pump repairs.
During my Workaway journey in Canada, I expanded on this by helping on farms, driving tractors and Kubotas, assisting with building rooms, trying carpentry and drywall work, and even looking after ponies. I also had the chance to look after kids for a family, which taught me patience, responsibility, and flexibility. These hands-on experiences gave me confidence in tackling all kinds of tasks.
Professionally, I have a background in Human Resources with over four years of experience, where I developed strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Whether it’s farm work, building projects, childcare, animal care, or general help, I’m always ready to lend a hand and learn something new.

  • What else ...

I'm not too into indoor games, but I do enjoy spending time with friends playing UNO at night. Mostly, I prefer being active outdoors—whether it's running, hiking, kayaking, or cycling. I love being outside and staying active rather than sitting at home.
