I'm a recent college grad looking to spend some time working in Alaska before I start my job in Seattle at the end of the summer. I spent my gap year between high school and college working (through Workaway) on small-scale farms, homesteads, and a B&B / concert venue -- I had a phenomenal time, and I think really highly of the organization. Excited for some new experiences :)

I have work experience on farms, in food service, and with childcare. I've spent the past few years, when not in school, working in academic research environments and as a software engineer -- but I'm really looking forward to getting back to spending some time working with people and/or in the outdoors.

I am a quick learner, detail-oriented, and work well under pressure. I enjoy problem-solving and picking up new skills.

I love working with and teaching kids, specifically music and/or language development, and I have experience teaching and tutoring :) I also love all stages of food production, including cooking! I am a long-time vegetarian and enjoy trying new recipes and creating my own.
