Hey!

We are Rob (27) and Hoda (36), a couple from the UK who are currently living and working in Spain. We are looking for a Workaway experience this summer to learn new skills, explore new cultures, and meet new people.

We have a wide range of skills to share but most of all we are open to learning and we love helping people. We are both at a basic convserational level (A2) in Spanish and would like to improve our levels further if possible.

We both have a wide range of skills which we can bring to any Workaway experience.

Rob:
- Experience from a past Workaway of manual labour & gardening (making paths, assembling water tanks, landscaping & gardening, feeding animals).
- Has been a volunteer ranger in the UK, leading groups of volunteers to undertake conservation tasks in the forest. Use of tools (pruning, sawing, hedgecutting, leafblowing, installing/removing waymarkers, benches and fences), first aid trained & with knowledge of forest conservation, health & safety.

Hoda:
- General maintenance (working in a hardware shop), gardening, cooking, babysitting, and running different types of classes for wellbeing e.g. journalling

Both:
- Love cooking and sourcing fresh ingredients, experience of cooking for large groups of people.
- Currently an English language teacher in Spain so good with children and supporting them to learn languages.
- Experienced with petsitting, in particular looking after dogs and cats.

Hoda and Rob were awesome! hard working, super friendly,it was a pleasure to have them at my home, they took good care of the house and the dogs. They helped me with lots of tasks in the house with maintenance, etc. Muchas gracias por vuestra ayuda!

Hoda and Rob were excellent workawayers and I would love to have them back to stay again.
We had great fun, and achieved loads. They were always very positive, helped out in the kitchen
and did some tough jobs happily!

We spent almost two weeks with Pete in August 2024. We had an awesome time and Pete could not have been a more welcoming, easy-going, generous host. It is a hypothetical question whether there would ever have been a Warwick Way on our finca, had not Rob and Ayaz volunteered. They hacked and cut themselves a path up the hill, helped in building a zipline to get construction materials up that same hill and mixed concrete for a foundation of a small building holding our water supply.
