Description

Hello, we are a French couple, Quentin and Maëlys, we are 22 years old. We are respectful, calm, and motivated. We would like to discover New Zealand culture while offering our help. We are looking for a Woofing opportunity from December 15, 2025 to March 6, 2026.

We love working outdoors, animals, gardening, DIY, and cooking, and we'd love to learn new things while improving our English. Maëlys is good in english, although not perfect, and Quentin is still learning; he has a B1 level. Quentin is studying at an engineering school. During his studies, he will have to travel outside of France for a cultural exchange. He has never had the opportunity to travel outside of France and he is exited to do it in order to obtain his degree.

Maëlys is an orthoptist since 1.5 years and has already traveled to several countries, including Portugal, Spain, Croatia, Italy, and England.

We have a particular interest in animal care and gardening. We would like to have animals and a very large garden to cultivate in the future, because we want to create a micro-farm for our own use.

We would be enjoy to help you with your project, learn new things, and share our enthusiasm and our motivation with you.

About Quentin :
All the summer, he helps his grandmother to maintain their garden. It consist to clear brush, mow the lawn, chop wood, and also smaller and simpler home repair.
He likes DIY.
He has to learned how work the electricity.
He is a fast learning and he like learn new crafts.
He likes cooking

About Maelys:
She spends most of her time caring for her collection of plants and flowers. She often goes for a run after work and spends time playing with their cat Wilson. She loves cooking, baking, and learning new recipes. She likes rainy days when she crochets while watching Netflix. But as soon as there's a ray of sunshine, she takes advantage of it to go outside to tend the vegetable garden and maintain her mother's house.
