I'm an easy-going, energetic British/Swiss who has worked many years in administrative office work (conference organising) in Belgium. At the end of December 2022 I decided to make a career change and have successfully completed an online Cambridge course to Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Currently doing various part-time jobs and caring for my elderly parents, but hoping to travel and work casually for several months in the year. Ideally, I am looking for a paid position as I have a rent to pay in Belgium, but I'll consider non-paid positions also.

I'm a NATURE- and ANIMAL-lover, who loves being ACTIVE OUTDOORS, enjoys travelling, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. I've already done several adventurous things in my life, such as assisting on camping safaris in Southern Africa, and delivering lambs. I enjoy the satisfaction of helping others or contributing to a community. I do ARTS AND CRAFTS as a hobby, speak English, French, Dutch and (rusty) German and am a certified Red Cross First Aid volunteer and also a certified CELTA (English Language Teacher).

I'm a sociable person, with an empathetic character. I have successfully raised my 2 children to adulthood practically single-handedly. I can cook, can help run a household and am generally good at - and interested in - many things. I love meeting new people and feel that I can fit well in most situations. Try me!

I have been following art classes for the last 5 years. I enjoy painting, sketching and any other craft-making activities. I also enjoy cooking and love eating and tasting all sorts of different foods! ;-)
