Description
Hi, I am Pia, a 25 year old girl who was visiting some friends in Faro. Now I decided spontaneously to stay longer here in Portugal and skip the cold winter in Germany.
I have the idea of helping on a farm for a few of years now, but never found the time to really do it. Luckily I just decided to do it now! So I can start working during a few days, I just have to come to your place. :)
I come from a small village in Germany, so I appreciate less crowded and places surrounded by nature.
Since I was a child I like to be outside and work with my hands. I often helped out my neighbour, who is a farmer by taking care of the cows and chickens, mucking out the stable or just helping out with whatever needs to be done.
In my home town I am part of a community who takes care of a small public park. We try to increase biodiversity and create natural habitats in the city by planting plants.
I also enjoy cooking, especially cooking for more people and learning something new about herbs, vegetables and new methods and recipes.
In general, I can say, that I am an easy-going, practical person.
