Welcome hosts, thanks for taking the time to have a look at our profile. We are a open minded, active and easy going couple. We enjoy being outside in nature, working with our hands, finding solutions and being creative. We like clear communication and can work as part of a team or independently with efficiency and motivation to complete jobs to the best possible standard.

In our free time you can find us cycling, mountainbiking, swimming, hiking, surfing, climbing, cooking and eating good food, having interesting conversations, playing cards and doing a little bit of yoga and meditation. As much as possible we try to travel by my bicycle, or by hitchhiking because we enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life. We are on workaway because we want to help with exciting projects, learn about the different ways people are living and gain some new skills we can apply to our life.

More details about your skills

PETER: I have learnt a of skills from the many different places I have volunteered and from my job back home. In New Zealand I worked as a Mountain Bike Instructor and Trail Builder. Some of my skills and experience include; operating a digger to build trails, use of chainsaw, leading a trail building crew, teaching mountain bike skills, teaching bicycle safety to school kids, being a bicycle mechanic, building wooden structures on trails and I even have experience picture framing at my father's business. I can safely opperate almost all power tools and am very comfortable working on building/wood working projects. I enjoy physical and creative work, landscaping, farming, etc. No job is too hard, and there is always a solution.

SULTAN: As a person who grew up in a village, I am familiar with outside activities. I have some knowledge of gardening where I can help with planting, pruning, weeding and more. I do have some experience with small farm animals care as well. I have a great interest in cooking. I like to cook traditional Turkish food and I am very open to cook any international dishes you can ask. Also, I can help with any cleaning or tidying work you have. As I learnt from my earlier workaways and from my own experiences, I am talented with painting of furnutires and buildings too.
Since I am still a student at a university, I might be useful with anything regarding your children's study and learning languages.


We are motivated workers and keen to learn new skills. 🌸

What else ...

We have now helped out at many workaways along our travels and have gained a lot more useful skills. We have worked with all sorts of tools on building projects, helped with landscaping jobs, worked in gardens, built fences, looked after animals, served food in a restaurant, painted houses, made art, cleaned rooms, worked in a hostel, made furniture, and much more, check our photos to some of the projects. I hope we can help you with some of these skills and learn more!
