Hi! My name is Payton and the reason I joined workaway is because I want to travel and help others and this seems like the perfect way to do it.
Im a very social person and I get a lot of happiness out of meeting and getting to know new and interesting people. I’m very passionate about music and can talk about it for hours on end, and I would absolutely love to get to experience you’re cultures music. I’m not the best cook but it is something I enjoy doing and learning how to prepare and cook dishes from other cultures sounds fantastic. I keep a very open mind about all things and am always trying to understand points of view from all over, I love just talking about things with people and hearing new perspective because I believe exchanging beliefs, experiences, and philosophy is something that can only make the world a better and more understanding place. I’m also a huge history nerd, anything you have to share with me about the history of your nation and it’s people I’d be ecstatic to learn about. I’m a very outdoors centered person and spend a good amount of time in the mountains where I live, hiking, backpacking, camping, and just exploring are what I love most and I can’t wait to explore all the beautiful nature and scenery the world has to offer.

I’ve worked a lot of different types of jobs and gained a lot of experiences and skills through them, I’ve renovated houses, worked with animals (including farm animals but only briefly), but what I’ve gained most through my work experience is I’ve learned how to work alongside and become friends with all types of people. The majority of my working experience has been in customer service and supervising and taking care of children. I pick up on a lot of things very quickly and am hoping to take types of jobs I don’t have a ton of experience on in my travels on workaway.

Other information about me is that I’m someone who really values my alone time. I absolutely love being around people but I do still need some time to myself at least once a week, just to recharge so I can hop right back into being social and helping others out!
