My name is Paula, and I consider myself an easy-going, active, and kind person who loves simple things in life, such as nature, outdoor activities, art, and cooking.

I was born in Spain but grew up in Argentina most of my life. I moved back to Europe right after high school, and since then I've been working and travelling around doing all kinds of jobs: waitress, shop assistant, Au Pair, bookseller, dental assistant, etc... I’m also a qualified social worker, passionate about community projects and supporting people from all walks of life.

A few years ago, I had a wonderful Workaway experience in Portugal, helping with all kinds of tasks in an eco-hostel from gardening and cleaning to assisting guests and taking part in sustainability initiatives.

What I like about volunteering abroad, apart from the satisfaction of helping people, is the amazing feeling that comes from doing something completely different that stays with you for the rest of your life.
