Description

Hey future friends :) , my name is Paul, in the early thirties and originally from Berlin. Currently I am enjoying the USA for a couple of months. I would like to explore the nature and people of california and beyond and get an idea about american culture. Further on I plan to visit Costa Rica and spend a few months to discover the country and to get a closer look on the local culture and people. I have been in Mexico and Columbia 8 years ago for almost a year and I am thrilled to be back to Latin America to find new friends, new food and a new spectacular landscape. Now I can say that I quite collected a bit of travel and workaway experience over the years. I cant wait to meet you and to exchange stories, laughter and simply a good time!

German is my mother tongue and currently i speek fluent english and feel quite comfortable with spanish. I also learned portuguese (brasil) and arabic for over one year but unfortunately I lost almost all of it. I would love to improve my spanish right now and learn another language further on! :)

Well...I am in the hotel & hospitality industriy for 15 years now. So I am a trained chef with 8 years experience and a Server/ Bartender with 7 years experience in mostly luxury hotels/ restaurants. I also worked at the front desk in different hotels and hostels (workaway) around the world.
I also have a B.A of social and cultural anthropology and Latinamerica studies.
So I have quite a mix of skills that I can offer :) I have a well developed expertise about anything with hospitality: running a kitchen, a restaurant or the reception and all the stuff that comes with it ;) Also I am a good handyman, like I've done many different workaways (gardening, farming, picking, maintenance, florist, painting etc).
But also some skills about analysis, scinetific work, writing, office work etc. And I am a quick learner ;)
