Description
Hello! My name is Pablo, I’m 26 and originally from Madrid. After spending several years living abroad, I’m currently back in Madrid and getting ready for a new chapter in my life: I’ll soon be moving to Barcelona to start working as an air traffic controller.
Before making this move, I’d love to make the most of the next few months by joining another Workaway. I’m looking for meaningful exchanges where I can contribute, learn new things, meet people from different backgrounds, and become part of a local community. I really like the idea of travelling not just as a tourist, but by getting involved, helping out and sharing everyday life with others.
I’ve lived in six different countries, including the UK, the USA, South Korea, France and Mexico, where I recently spent a year working in Mexico City. These experiences have made me very adaptable, independent and open-minded, and I genuinely enjoy discovering new cultures and hearing people’s stories.
I’m a curious, easygoing and responsible person. I enjoy photography, art, cooking, hiking, swimming and being outdoors. I’m also happy to get involved in practical tasks, learn new skills and help wherever I’m needed.
I’m excited to use this time before moving to Barcelona to have a few new adventures, contribute to interesting projects and, above all, meet good people along the way. I’m looking forward to sharing experiences, learning from others and hopefully leaving a positive contribution wherever I go. -

Although I wouldn’t say I’m an expert, I consider myself to be very handy and resourceful with manual work. I’m willing to help with pretty much all kinds of tasks, including gardening, painting, cleaning, etc. I also have experience in hotels and hospitality, so I’m open to working at any hostel, helping out with chores.
