Description
Hey! My name is Oskar.
This year, I graduated from secondary school and am taking a gap year to have some new experiences to figure out what I want to do later in life.
In my free time I like to go horseback riding and have done it for about 8 years total, but recently I've found an even stronger interest in ground work, especially liberty, and all kinds of peaceful communication with horses. I also love all other animals and forests. I enjoy doing yoga and it has really helped me through stressful times in school and grounded me. I love listening to all kinds of music but my favourite genre is probably indie rock & pop. Other than that I also like watching movies, reading, I also really love photography and recently started climbing. I've been told I'm a very calm and reliable person. I'm very curious to learn more about nature and farming :)
After previously volunteering in Sweden, I'm now excited to see other parts of the world as well and meet different people.

More details about your skills
This fall I volunteered through WWOOF on a farm in Sweden for 6 weeks, where I made first experiences with things like constructing electric fences, tractor driving, daily animal care, garden work (mostly watering, harvesting and processing), painting and cleaning.
Apart from that I now know what is phyiscally required for daily farm work and I learned independence and responsibility in taking care of the farm. I'm also currently working as a Stagehand where I constantly improve my handywork and teamwork.
So I have made a first experience but I still have plenty to learn and that is exactly why I want to volunteer again: I'm excited to learn more!
