Description
Hey everyone! I have always wanted to visit South America and am motivated to experience the culture of Peru and learning from people with different backgrounds.
I am especially excited about volunteering with children. Back home, I have coached and refereed junior football teams, which taught me patience, communication and how rewarding it is to see young people develop new skills. I would love to build on that experience by helping to teach English in Peru, combining my enjoyment of working with kids with my interest in learning Peruvian culture.
I enjoy being outdoors and have always stayed active, and played lots of sport. I want to take on new challenges in my trip to South America, whether that’s helping with practical tasks, learning new skills, or contributing to a community project.

More details about your skills
I have a strong background in communication, organisation, and working with people from all different backgrounds. In my current job as a Legal Assistant, I manage a busy workload with attention to detail and problem-solving, which has also made me reliable under pressure.
Previously, I was a Graduate Area Manager for Aldi, where I managed over 100 staff across multiple stores. This role gave me strong leadership, organisation, and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to stay calm in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. It taught me to adapt quickly, solve problems on the go and help staff people with clear communication. These are all skills I can bring to a volunteering placement.
I have experience coaching and refereeing junior football teams, which developed my skills in teaching, motivating others and working patiently with children. This is something I’d love to build on by helping to teach English while in Peru.
I’m confident with practical tasks, whether that’s helping outdoors, supporting community projects, or assisting with day-to-day responsibilities. I’m also adaptable, quick to learn, and happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
