Hi everyone, I'm a visual artist and workshop leader who works mostly with young children. I am from London, and have only a few English friends; the rest are from all over the world so I have a multi-cultural and multi-linguistic experience.
I've travelled a lot, usually to the same places to spend time with the European families of my long term partners, and now my own in-laws but never really had the travel bug or urge to leave where I am from. As I come from a big family, it was important for me to maintain those relationships as children and young people but they have now mostly left the city altogether so I am ready to make the world my home.
I have a Masters degree in anthropology as I am interested in people, I enjoy helping others, I have worked as a tutor with children and young people and I've had my own business educating on African Musical cultures around the world. I do believe more connects than separates.Interests

As a freelancer, I have a very mixed skill set as I have searched for the best way to maintain an artistic life...
I am a great cook, mostly vegetarian but not intentionally so, I normally cook in bulk
I have worked in a cafe for about five years so good at cooking, cleaning and preparing dishes
I have office, admin and logistics skills (I enjoy this as bit of a nerd)
Events - I host events, public and private with and without refreshments, and have been paid to do so. For example hosting wine tastings (with quizzes and games)
I have worked with babies, preschoolers, children and young people since I was a child in informal, private and educational settings, with academic and creative purposes
I am a skilled artist, I use watercolour and pen mainly.
I am also great at crafting; I made all of the decorations for my wedding.
I have been employed by an arts agency to run children's workshops and various craft projects for at least five years
I have worked for and have had facilitator training in the Theatre industry including children's and adult theatre. I have worked front of house directly with audiences, in the office back of house in the education department of the country's National Theatre and also worked with smaller theatre companies
I play a few instruments including guitar, mbira ('thumb piano') percussion
I have danced since before I was born so I have very good rhythm and sense of the beat
I enjoy foraging and growing my own fruit and vegetables
I've just qualified as a carer of children in a home setting with the country's official regulatory body (so I'm also paediatrically first aid trained)
Excellent academic and creative written English
I can sew and use a sewing machine, sometimes I make clothes
I used to model so have some fashion and styling experience
I've also been told I have a very nice accent (think BBC Radio 2)Age
34
What else ...
I enjoy card games, drama games, gardening, walking, dancing (especially Cuban Salsa and bellydance), Nu-Metal head, world history and ancient mysteries. I draw, write (creative and academic), and love hosting fun events with games.
I am more introverted so I take time to listen and develop quality connections, but I also do love music, dancing, playing guitar and dressing up.
I love long walks and being in nature, my ideal setting is a forest by the sea/ large body of water.
I believe in the value of every individual, especially children
Will try most things once. Some more information
