Hey everyone!
I'm Nina, a Swiss adventurer who's been backpacking for the past 2 years and a half around Asia, Australia and South-America. I'm passionate about immersing myself into new cultures, learning new skills, and meeting amazing people along the way.
I'm an adventurous, outgoing, and endlessly curious soul who loves challenges.
I’m all about scuba diving, free diving, surfing (still a beginner, but loving it!) climbing, skiing, hiking and ride bike.
A little about my journey: back in 2013, I spent two years at a Shaolin temple in China, learning Kung-fu. From there, I was studying Chinese at universities in Beijing and Nanjing for four years. I then returned to Switzerland to pursue a degree in French philosophy and literature. Last year, I completed my degree to become a social worker and have worked with kids, the elderly, and people with disabilities. I also was a swimming teacher and French teacher for kids.
During my travels, I’ve been lucky to work at scuba diving centers in Malaysia and Indonesia. I also helped doing boat maintenance on a sailboat in Malaysia (at dock).
My next challenge is to discover South America, especially Chile, as it is my mother's and grandmother's country. I want to discover my culture and learn the language.
Oh, and I’m a food enthusiast, I love discovering new flavors and dishes wherever I go.
