Description

We are Nina and Theresa from Germany and currently on our lifetime adventure in Down Under. We are super excited to see all the different landscapes, wildlife and people Australia has to offer. A great way to experience all this, is to get in touch with the locals and support them in their everyday life.
We enjoy being outdoors, around children and animals and also love cooking and baking. We'd describe ourselves as all-rounders, fast learners and great helping hands where needed.
After almost five years of working as a Financial Analyst for a Spirits Company (Nina) and as a Sales Manager in Travel Retail (Theresa), we‘d like to take a break from the office and explore a little more of our beautiful globe. We're looking forward to a new adventure with Workaway and hope to earn lots of impressions of Australia and it's culture.
We just got back from 6 weeks of cherry Picking in beautiful Tasmania and are now looking for some new :)

Throughout the last 15 years Theresa has been engaged in different kinds of social work, including:
- being a camp counselor for kids aged 9-15
- teaching children's gym and dance classes
- working as an Au Pair in the US
- organizing sports events for the local rugby club

I, Nina, would describe myself as a flexible Allrounder. I grew up in a rather rural area always having animals around. Just before I left Germany I supported my sister in organizing a Shire Horse Show. Simple renovating tasks are not a problem and helping around the house comes naturally.
During my studies I worked in summer jobs such as gardening and cleaning, working in Icecream-Shop, Sales Advisor at H&M and in the Production for a Photoprinting Company.
