Hi, I’m Nina, 30 years old, originally from East Frisia in the north of Germany, and currently on my third Australian visa.

I’ve spent quite some time working and travelling around Australia: I did cherry picking in Tasmania, worked in a shearing shed in NSW, and spent the last year as a stockhand and cook on a farm near Esperance. Farm life has taught me a lot, and I really enjoy being part of everyday routines and helping where needed.

At the moment I’m on a road trip from Perth to Esperance, taking my time and looking for interesting connections with locals along the way. I love meeting people, sharing stories and learning about different ways of life.

I really enjoy cooking and baking (sadly, my sourdough starter Sid had to stay on the farm 😄), and I’m a creative person – I like knitting and painting. I also love being outdoors, especially spending time at the beach.

I’m excited about cultural exchange, learning new skills, being shown new places, and contributing wherever I can. I’m open-minded, reliable and happy to help.

I’m a hands-on allrounder and happy to help wherever needed. I can assist with household tasks, cleaning, gardening and general maintenance (I’ve got a few muscles 💪). I enjoy cooking and baking, running errands, and I’m very comfortable looking after pets and animals. I’m reliable, practical and not afraid to get my hands dirty.

We had a really great time with Junko and Frank! We only stayed for 1,5 weeks and the time flew by way too fast!! Nina and Theresa were a great addition to our family. They slotted into our home and family straight away. They both used initiative and common sense regarding tasks and responsibilities. They work well together.
