Hello! My name is Nikki. I am a spirited and open-minded individual with a passion for exploring nature through gardening, animal care, hiking, skiing, and scuba diving. My main desire for travel stems from my curiosity of different cultures, communities, and their unique ways of living. I love leaving my comfort zone to learn and gain new experiences- the greater the challenge the better. I enjoy having company and lengthy expansive conversations, yet I am also content with silence and solitude. Some activities that bring me daily joy are cooking, painting, meditating, yoga, and laughing! I am in my second year of studying Environmental Engineering in Boston, Massachusetts and would love to apply what I've learned about sustainable building and living to an earth-conscious living community.

The skills I can offer include delicious vegan cooking, mixology, compost and gardening, animal care, painting/decorating, and yoga instruction. I also have experience with farm practices and harvesting from working on a kiwi fruit farm in New Zealand. I am familiar with basic woodworking which could aid my learning of construction skills. I am a quick learner and a hard worker so I believe I will be able pick up a necessary skill if it is taught to me.

Although I can't truly play an instrument, I love to listen, sing along, and dance to music. Playing card games, telling stories, and having philosophical chats are some of my favorite ways to get to know someone. I miss stargazing and trying foods I've never seen or heard of!
