I am a 60 years old woman who until recently I worked in secretarial jobs. I like meeting new people, getting to know new cultures and languages, providing me with new perspectives. Everyone has a story to tell and I am a fervent reader of fiction and non-fiction. My family and my friends are very important to me, exchanging ideas and discussing our lives. Besides that I love exercising on my bikestepper going through nature.
Though or because I consider myself more a head than a hands person I would love to learn new skills and make myself useful to others in a practical way. I am open minded and kind-hearted and hope you can show me the practical skills with which I can help out.

I have no teaching experience but I would like to share whatever knowledge I have. I am also very interested in learning new languages or improving my existing language skills. Recently I added Swahili to my Duolingo profile and I would love to learn and practice it in real life.

I am not sure I have any practical concrete hands-on skills, but I usually find it easy to get along with people, I have a creative mind, am responsible, open minded and kindhearted.
I have some languange skills and I have some experience teaching English to two Peruvian girls.
I worked as a volunteer in a refuge for wild animals in Bolivia, taking care of the newly arrived monkeys. As a volunteer I assisted Sundayschool-teachers providing career- and social skills to underprivileged kids. I do have a great sense of responsibility and willingness to help others.
Currently I am providing company and help for an elderly person.

I would love to learn more about cooking and spices, get inspired and share my experience and new knowledge with my friends and family. I like philosophizing and discussing lives and how we can live together and share, priviliges as where you were born give responsibilities

I would love to learn my practical value, reading back I see that I have a lot of words to tell you 'I am practically useless' (joking).

I said I am a smoker, but only where it is allowed and I do not disturb anyone. Sometimes it is a moment for myself or a moment shared with other smokers, not a necessity. Maybe I will be able to quit smoking altogether, I don't need the nicotine.
