Description
I spent four months WWOOFing within the last year because I'm interested in learning how to grow vegetables, self-sufficiency and communal living, now I'm switching to Workaway to do the same in other countries and hopefully improve my foreign language (French, Norwegian) skills. I'm also interested in dark music (and French language music of all genres), classic literature and the Enneagram (but I'm not spiritually inclined). I don't do drugs including alcohol, I'm vegan for the arguments, my favorite movie is Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and I'm diagnosed with autism (some traits I have that probably come from me being autistic and often confuse people are: always wearing headphones because complex noises overwhelm me; not being a big fan of politeness because it doesn't make sense to me; compulsively taking notes; literal thinking; being confused by questions related to emotions; sometimes freezing when my flow is interrupted).

The work was not what I expected. Despite staying for an entire month, I didn't get to work in the greenhouse at all, nor did I do much in the garden beyond picking tomatoes for lunch. My stay coincided with the fig picking season, so most… read more
There are inaccuracies in the profile, it really needs to be updated. Jose and Nicolas don't live there anymore, or at least didn't when I was there. The garden was also deprioritised that year so not much to learn about food self-sufficiency. I tried working with the trees as much as possible, but sometimes I had to work on… read more
