Description

Hi :) we are Nadia (34) and Marco (28), a couple from Italy currently enjoying a gap year to travel and immerse ourselves in nature.

We’ve been living in Berlin for a few years and we’ve realised we want more from life than a 9 to 5 job and waiting for retirement.
So we decided to take a year for ourselves to travel and meet new people :)

We've travelled by car from Berlin to Greece and then took a boat to Southern Italy so we're currently tavelling in Italy.
We would like to meet new people that are open-minded and offer our knowledge to help around and learn new skills.

Marco is a skilled cook (mostly Italian dishes) and pastry chef. He is pretty handy with doing general repair work on the house or appliances. His past Workaway experiences include: Builder/construction, gardening, animal care and olive picking.

Nadia also cooks well (Italian and Tunisian dishes). She is more on the artsy side so she enjoys painting work (wall painting but also canvas), she can sew, also loves gardening and taking care of animals. She also has had experience with working with kids in touristic villages and hotels and after-school programs.
We are both animal and nature lovers! We don’t shy away from any type of work and we like to get our hands dirty.

Our favourite sport at the moment is bouldering! We also do Yoga and meditation regularly as we believe it is a fundamental part of life.

We speak different languages like Italian, English, Spanish, German, Tunisian and if there is interest we can also teach you :)
In general we are relaxed people that like to learn about everything and have an open mind.
