Description
I’m a university student studying game design and computer science, with a minor in Japanese. I’m super excited to learn more about Japanese culture, the language, and to immerse myself in the daily life of living there!
I find game inspiration in basically everything. Books, nature, interpersonal relationships, and many situations I find myself in. Hopefully those ideas will take fruit in the future ;-) I’m keeping my options open on potentially working as a game designer in Japan.
I’m very culturally competent and love traveling! I’ve been to over 20 countries. I’m actually in Ecuador as I’m typing this (the sea lions are so cute and they literally just lounge around town). I’ve only really traveled with my family though (outside of a semester in Rome) so I’m excited to have more independence.
I’m looking for experiences with native Japanese people, and while I am totally down to help people practice English, I would like to (try to) speak Japanese more often than not.
I’m also looking to stay in places that are near train stations. -

As a game designer, I find inspiration in just about anything. Just being in the woods, on a farm, reading a new book gives me new ideas.
I especially enjoy Japanese games and might live in Japan in the future as a game developer. -
