  • Description

    Hello everyone!

We are Morgane and Ugo, a couple from France currently living in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Canada, where we've been based for the past three years. We first met seven years ago during an internship in New Zealand — and we’ve been traveling and living new adventures together ever since.

We both share a deep love for the outdoors. Whether we’re hiking, camping, climbing or kayaking, we believe that the best way to discover a country is by immersing ourselves in nature and connecting with the people who live there. For us, traveling is not just about places — it’s about the human experience, sharing stories, and building meaningful connections along the way.

    About Morgane :
☀️I grew up in the South of France, where my passion for the sea, nature, and outdoor living began. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to live in four different countries, and each place has taught me something new about people, culture, and myself.
👥I work in human resources and project management, which matches well with my love for meeting people and learning new things. I’m always curious to try new foods, explore new languages, and share in local traditions.
🌿 While I used to live in big cities, I now prefer a simpler lifestyle, close to nature. 🎨 In my free time, I love staying active outdoors and letting my creativity flow through DIY projects and crafts.

    About Ugo
🍳With Italian and Polish roots, I grew up surrounded by delicious homemade dishes — which probably explains why discovering a country’s cuisine is one of my favorite parts of traveling!
⚙️Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, I decided to step away from office life and seek something more hands-on and active. I’ve since been working seasonal jobs that allow me to combine my love for the outdoors with my work: in winter as a ski technician, prepping skis for racers and customers, and in summer as a rafting guide, leading trips down a class 3 river — It's such a blast to be working outside with the nature.
🛠️I’m also passionate about fixing and building things. Whether it's renovating a house, repairing gear, or crafting something from scratch, I enjoy using my hands and creativity to bring new life to what already exists. I hate wasting things, so I’ll always try to repair, improve, or repurpose before replacing.

In short, the more time we spend outside, the happier we are — and the more we can meet and learn from others, the richer our journey becomes.

We can’t wait to meet you, learn from you, and hopefully share some great moments together!

    About Morgane :

🐶I love being around animals and have previous experience with pet and house sitting. I’ve always had dogs and cats at home, and I truly enjoy taking care of them.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Coming from a big family , I also have experience looking after young children and enjoy spending time with them.

🎨 I’m a creative person with lots of ideas when it comes to new projects. I love getting involved in hands-on work, like painting, crafting and I also converted my own vans for travel 🚐 I can also help with communication, social media, and basic video editing.

🤝 I studied business management and have strong skills in project coordination and customer service, which I developed through various professional experiences.

🌍Since I started traveling and working abroad quite early , I’ve learned to adapt quickly and easily to new situations. I’d be happy to help with whatever tasks you need — I’m motivated, reliable, and always ready to learn something new!

    About Ugo :

I like staying active and enjoy doing a bit of everything — especially when it involves working with my hands.

⚙️I spent 5 years working as a mechanical engineer, designing products from scratch in 3D. This experience taught me how to imagine creative solutions and solve problems efficiently.

🛠️ Outside of that, I’ve always loved manual work. From general DIY and home renovations 🏠 to building our travel van 🚐 and maintaining my bikes 🚲, I genuinely enjoy doing things myself rather than having somebody else do it.

I’m also quite curious and open to new experiences. Over the years, I’ve tried different kinds of jobs in very diverse fields: I worked as a firefighter 🚒 at my local station, as a warehouse worker handling heavy loads, and even as a vineyard worker trimming and pruning vines.

I’m reliable, adaptable, and always ready to learn something new — especially if it involves tools, teamwork, or outdoor work!
