Description
Hey there! My name's Mitch, and I'm a nature-loving, adventurous Australian keen to explore the world and help where I can. I've been lucky enough to travel throughout North America and East Asia, and am currently travelling throughout Africa, and after that, the Middle East.
I work for the Australian Government back home, focused on science and technology. My expertise includes in project management and strategic planning, grants administration, regulation and compliance, and management. However I also love simple customer service roles, and have experience in tutoring.
In my spare time, I love hiking, free diving, and all sorts of wacky sports. I enjoy reading, watching movies, and playing board games with friends. I'm also an absolute nature lover, and adore experiencing all that mother nature has to offer.
While travelling I'm hoping to improve my photography skills as well as my Spanish and Swahili language skills.Interests

I currently work in a corporate job for the Australian Government, so can complete any administrative, operational or project-style work. In particular, I can help in writing grant applications if you're an NGO, assist in project management, provide advice on government/ community relations and compliance matters, and provide support in management and strategic planning.
I have previously worked as a tutor and a class facilitator, so have experience teaching and experience with young people. In the past I worked for many years in customer service roles, and in past volunteering roles, I have worked at numerous community events, have helped with maintenance on a farm, and have helped with various cleaning and construction tasks. I am physically fit and happy to help wherever I can.Age

What else ...
I am really excited about the opportunity to immerse myself in the life of a local in the places I visit, so I am looking for workaway opportunities partly to meet new people and experience your way of life! Whether it's going to the beach, just helping with day to day life, or meeting your friends, I'd love to get to know you better while on my workaway!
