Hi! I'm Mireia :)

I'm a 21-year-old creative soul from Barcelona, passionate about the ocean, people, and storytelling. I’ve been working as a Divemaster for the past 3 years and absolutely love sharing the underwater world with others, whether it’s leading dives or helping people feel confident in the water.

Alongside diving, I work as a graphic and motion designer and have several years of experience as a community manager and content creator. I enjoy capturing moments through video, photography, and design, and I’d be more than happy to help with your business’s social media or visual communication if needed!

I'm friendly, curious, organized and adaptable, and I love learning new things. I speak 4 languages, Catalan, Spanish, English and French, and I adore connecting with people from different cultures. I’ve also taught dance, worked with tourists, and collaborated on creative and environmental projects.

This October, I’ll be heading to the Philippines solo for a few months, and I’m looking for hosts open to exchange , whether in diving centers, eco-projects, hostels or creative environments. I’m full of energy, reliable, and always ready to help out with a smile!

I really enjoy learning new languages, I believe it's a beautiful way to connect with people and understand their culture. I'm happy to teach any of the four languages I speak (Catalan, Spanish, English, and French), and I’m also excited to learn new ones. Since I’m travelling to the Philippines, I’d love to learn Tagalog, and I’ve always been interested in Italian too. I’m curious by nature and always open to learning something new!

🧜‍♀️ I’m a certified Divemaster with 3 years of experience leading dives, assisting with courses, and helping both beginners and advanced divers feel safe and excited underwater. I’m confident managing dive gear, boat logistics, and creating a welcoming atmosphere in the diving world.

🎨 As a motion & graphic designer, I work on creative projects ranging from branding and illustration to animation and video editing. I love giving visual life to ideas, and I’m always up for helping with content creation, posters, videos, or anything creative!

📲 I’ve also worked for 5+ years as a community manager, running social media accounts, creating content, writing posts, and engaging with audiences — especially for diving centers and tourism businesses.

💃 I’ve taught dance classes for adults and teens in styles like commercial and heels. I really enjoy bringing energy and confidence to others through movement, and I’m good at leading groups and planning sessions.

🧠 I’m a fast learner, very organized, and love taking initiative. Whether it’s helping with admin tasks, events, customer service, or creative projects, I’m happy to contribute wherever needed.

What else ...

Going to the Philippines is a dream come true for me. I’ve travelled before, but always with friends or family, and this will be my first solo adventure, which makes it feel even more special and exciting.

For years, I’ve dreamed of visiting a country so far away and so different from my own. I’m truly looking forward to immersing myself in a new culture, learning how people live, interact, and think, and embracing the experience fully.

I’m eager to connect with local people, adapt to their rhythm and lifestyle, and learn as much as I can, not only about others, but also about myself. This journey is about discovery, both outside and within, and I can’t wait to start it with open arms and a big smile.
