Traveling to nowhere for however long it takes and I keep forgetting why :)
Just a couple of weeks after graduating in architecture in Bergen on the west coast of Norway I started traveling. Most of the time was spent walking and most nights went by in a tent. After passing through Norway, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands I took some time to rest in Belgium - where I grew up- before continuing south.
When during late autumn the temperatures started dropping I felt the need to transition into a new chapter; instead of walking and always being on the move I wish to slow things down and spend time living and learning with communities who are working on something they love.
After spending two months in the Cévennes in the south of France I am now planning to continue into Spain and Portugal.
I would like to think that I expect very little to nothing from any potential host; to be offered an opportunity to come spend time in a place and situation that is very precious to someone is already an enormous gift.Interests

More details about your skills
Pretty good at a wide range of different things and exceptional at absolutely nothing!
I have never been very interested in becoming a specialist in a specific skill or field; I embrace a diversity of practices as the foundation of a holistic approach to situations; I admire the wisdom of the bus driver, the cleaner and the surgeon just as much as the wisdom of the architect, the nurse and the office clerk.
Nevertheless, there are certain sensitivities that I have developed and skills that I have practised more than others during my studies in architecture: close observation, drawing, writing, storytelling, construction principles, woodworking, photography, bookmaking, editing, "sustainability", building materials and a general attitude of trying to make things work with who and what is found in the immediate surroundings before considering other ways.Age
