  • Description

Hiii! I am an international student from Armenia, currently studying at Northwestern University, where I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in Art Theory and Practices. I pride myself on being outgoing, organized, and hard-working.

Art has always been my sanctuary and my voice. Whether I’m sketching the scenes of a coffee shop or photographing nature, I feel most alive when I'm creative. Outside of my artistic pursuits, I find joy in running, which offers moments of clarity and strength. I recently finished a half-marathon and currently training for a full one.

Cooking is another way I express myself, blending flavours and traditions into unique recipes. Sharing these creations with my loved ones brings me lots of happiness, as food is not just a means of sustenance but a bridge for connection. Preparing cultural dishes from Armenia also helps me feel at home, even when I’m far away, and allows me to honour my grandmother’s cherished recipes.

  • More details about your skills

My experience as a guest manager at the Komitas Museum in Armenia has shaped my interpersonal skills and fostered a collaborative spirit. I’ve also had the privilege of channelling my artistic talents into organizing a charitable exhibition, and I’m eager to apply these skills to creative endeavours such as sketching, photography, and DIY projects. My passion for cooking has equipped me with strong abilities in meal preparation, and I’ve had rewarding opportunities to babysit children aged 4 to 12, helping with homework and creating engaging activities. Additionally, my role as a research assistant at Northwestern University has sharpened my attention to detail and strengthened my time management.

  • What else ...

I am deeply passionate about travel and have had the privilege of living in four different countries—Armenia, France, Canada, and the United States. Sharing my experiences brings me joy, as it allows me to spread cultural awareness and encourage global understanding. I am equally captivated by hearing the travel stories of others, as they offer new perspectives and enrich my appreciation for the diversity and customs of our world.
