🏡I am Meriem, I am 23 and I come from Bologna , the most beautiful city in Italy🍝

📚I've been studying in France 🇫🇷 for the last 3 years , and during my academic career I had the chance to live several experiences abroad : 6 months In Spain 🇪🇸 as an erasmus student and 6 months in Colombia 🇨🇴 as an exchange student .

During these inexplicable experiences , I have had the chance to meet some of the best people I have ever met , from all parts of the globe ! From Mexico🇲🇽 Brazil 🇧🇷 Germany 🇩🇪 Japan 🇯🇵 Laos 🇱🇦 and many other countries! 🌍

I am crazily driven by a deep passion for exploring the rich tapestry of diversity that is our world for sure , but I also do believe that those experiences would not be as unforgettable if I was not surrounded by the good people🫂🫂

So to me, the people 🫂I meet on the journey definitely are a fundamental part of the journey itself. I get very influenced by the energy of those I choose to surround myself with , this is why I feel that I am made to travel as a workawayer ! I am sure that the people you meet with such an experience, are able to teach so much about life and not only work 🌍

I am especially drawn to volunteer opportunities that allow me to give back to the communities I visit.
My goal is not only to work , but to create real friendships and be able to exchange as much as possible with the people that I will encounter on my path 🌳

📚With a background in International Studies, I possess a solid foundation in global issues, cultural dynamics, and socioeconomic factors that shape our world. I aspire to blend this academic knowledge with real-world impact through my travels, whether it’s participating in community development projects, teaching English to children 🇬🇧 or helping with environmental conservation efforts🌴🎍🌳

More details about my language interests
My native language is Italian so of course this one is the main language I can teach ! I am currently studying in France so I could also teach French . I have been giving private and public English classes of any level since I was 15, so English is surely on the list of the few things I am sure I can teach ! Lastly, I would say that Spanish is also very easy for me cause it’s the closest to Italian , so yeah Spanish is for sure another language I would love to teach ☺️

I have been working as a waiter and bartender for 2 years and a half while studying 🍹🍸

I also worked for 4 months in the maintenance of a hotel, I prepared the rooms for the hosts and I also did the morning shift starting at 6 am where we worked in the kitchen and prepared the meals 🏨

I have recently worked as a sales assistant in the French multinational Carrefour, so I am used to working under stress and to managing peak hours with a lot of clients .

I speak 4 languages in total (Italian , English , French and Spanish ) and I’m currently studying Portuguese.
I’ve been working as a language teacher since I was 15 so I would say that I know the secrets of this profession!

I am a fast learner because when I have to learn something new I listen carefully and try improve everyday, so you won't have problems with me in that aspect .
The only thing is that I make a lot of questions 😅 but hey , that's how you learn !

I am just a very curious, motivated and driven young girl with the dream to explore this beautiful world in the most genuine and deep way possible : by living with a community with whom I can share experiences , ideas and opinions.
I am very friendly and I love to share happy moments with the people who are a part of my life , because I believe that “happiness is only real when shared” (cit .from Into the wild haha)
I want to understand the beauty of cultures that are different from mine , and I dream to do this through the amazing people that I am sure I will meet along my journey.
