Hey everyone!
Melisa here 😊 I’m a 22 year old newly graduated English Language Teaching student from Turkey.
I really love languages, cultures, travelling, and volunteering. I can even greet you in your own language so don’t be surprised 😄
I speak Turkish, English, German, and Indonesian. I also know a little Spanish, French, Romanian, and some Russian. I am currently improving my Spanish and learning Portuguese( European Portuguese), since I will be going to Portugal for my Erasmus+ internship :)
I’ve done volunteering with children, helping them learn English through fun and playful activities. I’ve also worked as a tutor with kids and adults, and I have some experience volunteering at hostels, which I really enjoyed 🌿
I love solo travelling, meeting new people, and learning from different cultures.

I have three years of tutoring experience. I taught English and Turkish to people of all ages, and I also taught Turkish to Indonesian speakers. I volunteered at an English speaking club. I would like to improve my German, Spanish, and learn basics in Portuguese(European Portuguese), and in exchange I can help you with Turkish :)

I have experience working with children and young learners, mostly teaching English through fun, interactive activities. I'm currently studying English Language Teaching at university, so I have both practical and academic knowledge in this field.
I'm also the president of my university’s Erasmus Club, where I help organize events, guide incoming Erasmus students, and support their integration into a new culture. This has helped me become more confident in intercultural communication and teamwork.
I’m good at organizing group activities, communicating clearly, and adapting to new environments quickly.
In addition to teaching, I’m happy to help with basic household tasks, organizing events, or supporting language exchange.
I’m a creative person – I enjoy drawing, playing simple tunes on the piano, and learning about different cultures and languages.
I’m always eager to learn something new and contribute in any way I can!

In my free time, I enjoy drawing (especially sketching), playing simple songs on the piano, and exploring new languages. I’m also really into cultural exchange and love meeting people from different backgrounds.
I absolutely love doing puzzles – it helps me relax and focus.
I also enjoy spending time in nature, going for walks, and having meaningful conversations over a cup of tea or coffee. I'm a curious person who loves trying new things and making the most of every experience.

It was a real pleasure to meet Yiğit and Alvaro and spend time with them. They always made me feel welcome in their home, and I truly felt at home whenever I was with them. Their place has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that I felt comfortable from the very first day. It quickly became a place where I could relax, learn, and enjoy every … read more moment.

We shared many delicious homemade meals together, and we had many great conversations. Every week, they organize a speaking club. Alvaro helped me improve my Spanish speaking skills by giving me honest feedback and useful advice. Thanks to his encouragement, I feel much more confident speaking Spanish now. He is always patient, makes sure you understand everything, and motivates you to keep improving. He also speaks Turkish and English very well.

Yiğit is also incredibly talented when it comes to languages. He learned Georgian in less than a year, which is really impressive. You can be sure that this is a place where you can practice different languages with amazing people in a friendly and supportive environment. It was also a great opportunity for me to practice my English because they both speak it very well.

The location is also wonderful, especially if you enjoy spending time by the sea. I really enjoyed our walks along the seaside and the relaxed atmosphere around the area. Their place is much more than just a place to practice languages. It's a place where you can build genuine friendships, enjoy delicious homemade meals, have meaningful conversations, and create unforgettable memories together.

They always checked on me to see how I was doing, invited me to meet up, chat, share information, or even study together. They were always kind, sincere, and willing to help. I especially enjoyed sharing stories with them and taking walks along the seaside.

It was a wonderful experience getting to know them, and I'm truly grateful for their kindness and hospitality. They always do their best to help others and make everyone feel comfortable.

I would highly recommend staying with them to anyone who wants to improve their language skills while becoming part of a warm, welcoming, and supportive community. I'm sure you'll leave not only with better language skills but also with unforgettable memories and wonderful friends.
