Hello/ bonjour! I’m a Canadian who’s passionate about nature, history, and cultural exchange. I’ve worked in remote areas across Canada for the past three years, planting trees, guiding hikes, and working as a park ranger, so I love to work hard and enjoy the outdoors!
I'm a responsible and polite guest, and will treat your work, life, and home with respect. I love to laugh and to learn, and I always bring a positive attitude to the job at hand.
I’m equally passionate about history, philosophy, and culture - and would love to learn from hosts and fellow volunteers with new and different perspectives.
I’m always looking for a new book recommendation and a local hike to do in my time off! Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit about me. I really look forward to meeting you :)

Having worked in the outdoors for three years, I have experience with manual labour: lifting heavy, working long days, and making the most of all sorts of weather. I’m comfortable using hand and power tools, and have experience with basic carpentry, maintenance, and project design. I’m happy to help with any kind of physical work that needs to be done! Anything I don’t yet know, I’ll be happy to learn. I’m quick and eager to pick up new tasks and can work cooperatively to figure out what needs to be done!
Teamwork, cooperation, communication, and compromise are important values to me. I understand that working and living together presents unique challenges, as well as the opportunity to create lasting, meaningful friendships! I’m easy to get along with, friendly, and a great roommate!
