I‘m Maggie,a retiree from the global healthcare industry. Having worked with people of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds in an innovative and sometimes challenging environment, I am a well travelled and experienced team-player. Mother of two wonderful sons in their 20’s, I have a friendly, open and creative personality, combined with a good sense of humor.
Creating positive connections and helping people energizes me-simply being useful, supporting projects and daily life with positive energy, while sharing a laugh in good company. Luckily I now have the opportunity to travel at my own pace, taking the time to meet new people, embrace new cultures and ways of life.
Doing this as a workaway volunteer is so enriching and impactful.
