Hi I'm Maya, I am traveling through Spain right now and i am excited to improve my spanish and meet wonderful people onnthe way :)
Description
Hola I am Maya from Germany, I am finally travelling through Spain (which i wanted to do for a long time) and i am currently in Andalucía, looking for some friendly people and a place in nature :)
I am a very outgoing and open minded person, i love being around people, always ready for having a good talk or some fun.
I also enjoy being in nature (especially with my dog), hiking and working outside and i love animals!
While traveling through Centralamerica last year i discovered workaway (I did some at a Ecoproject, a Farm, which was in the middle of nowhere and a hostel) and i loved this slower way of traveling and doing something meaningful at the same time.
In my hometown i am working in a Bar and a Restaurant, where i am in contact with customers everyday and earn some money for my future plans (i will propably study soon) :)
While travelling i hope to improve my spanish, experience new cultures, meet people from all over the world and learn new skills!

At my last volunteering projects i learned how to build some stuff, we repaired the chicken house, cared for the animals and cooked over the fire in the nature.
After that i volunteered in a restaurant,
where i prepared the meals, learned some more customer service skills and cleaned the kitchen :)
I worked in a Café since I am 16, so i know how to sell products, work in a kitchen, interact with customers and make some good coffee of course ;)
I also did a lot of camping as a child and volunteered as a group leader at a summer camp, where i cooked, built a lot of suff in the camp and entertained children.
In school I also opened a Café as a Project, where we selled Fairtrade Coffee and renovated the place .
Overall i am mostly good in interacting with people, but i am very open to learn new skills and help where i can :)

In my one month in San Juan the hostel with all the wonderful people working and volunteering became my home and i am so thankful for all the experiences!!
